STUDIO DIRECT

As i have before, whenever i think about it i realize the following things but until now never tried to write or summarize it in any way.

I develop support and improve live music and event venues because i think getting people to leave their house and socialize is critical to the progression of our culture. With technology and the internet the merchandise industry is making it easier to stay home watch our nice home theaters, play with computers, facebook, video games, u stream and never leave our home. To me it seems very dangerous that our own luxuries & conveniences are choking the life out of the few things this country does so well (film, music, art,). Its no wonder the quality of the arts sometimes seems lacking in the process. American merchandising isnt interested and few people are fighting for these things we to easily take for granted. They are spending billions of dollars (while we beg for it) to ensure their products have future customers a strong secure consumer industry and that their merchandise becomes primary necessities in every household, if we don't actively support the establishments for our creative culture to exist and for people to be social in REAL life then its just a matter of time before American merchandising and our own overly self indulgent lazy nature makes it virtually imposable to experience anything in real life, especially without their involvement. Eventually it may just be far more convenient and cheaper to stay home and that suites American merchandising just fine. While i continue to take my passion for "music" far to seriously and not seriously enough...

Releasing an EP in 1999 entitled Chameleons-n-Piranhas with the local label, New Realm Records and D.U.N.A.T. Venturing deeper into the Arts & Entertainment District in RI performing as an actor in theater productions with PBRC, Raidge found himself as an Artist/Teacher Co-creating programs and in-school/after-school programming and workshops in the Providence Public School System which, in turn, delayed the release of the album. Taking a long hiatus from the Hiphop stage due to this development, music production and recording of his personal ideas did not stop for him. Now he re-emerges with new music and an album entitled Cosmic Alterations. As a nod to those who have heard pieces from Borderline Bliss, It is now being realeased for digital downloads, enjoy!
